Jimmy John's Coming to Whitefish Bay

Whitefish Bay may soon be getting Jimmy John's subs – although it's unclear if it'll be so fast we freak.

The national sub chain will go before the Whitefish Bay Plan Commission on Sept. 17 seeking approval to open in a 1,615-square-foot space currently occupied by CherryBerry Frozen Yogurt, which opened less than a year ago in November.

CherryBerry employees said they have not heard if their store will close, and an email to the company was not answered Monday afternoon.

The nearest Jimmy John's locations are at 6969 Port Washington Rd. in Glendale and at 8793 N. Port Washington Rd. in Fox Point.
