Great Clips Opens With $5 Hair Cut Special

The national salon franchise opened Monday in the storefront previously occupied by Nevaeh Medispa.

Great Clips is turning heads this week with a $5 hair cut special celebrating its newest Whitefish Bay location.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Great Clips is the world’s largest salon brand with more than 3,000 locations. The business opened its latest franchise Monday at 103 W. Silver Spring Drive, a space that has been vacant since Nevaeh Medispa moved to Shorewood in late 2010.

Whitefish Bay has about a dozen hair salons, but this is the first in the village to offer haircuts at a price of $13 for adults and $11 for children and seniors. There is also a Great Clips at 4164 N. Oakland Ave. in Shorewood, and a Cost Cutters at 6969 N Port Washington Road in Glendale.
