NFL Supercontest, Week 13
Can the Packers make the offensive adjustments necessary to ensure that Graham Harrell isn't starting by playoff time?
After an embarrassing loss on national television, it's Vikings week for the Packers. Hopefully, Greg Jennings will help Aaron Rodgers in getting the ball out quicker, but seriously, how long until Ted Thompson gives Mark Tauscher or Chad Clifton a call to come out of retirement? I'm a big Mike McCarthy fan, but I certainly didn't get the logic in making two positions on the offensive line weaker by switching T.J. Lang to right tackle once Bryan Bulaga went down. In any case, Christian Ponder sucks, so I don't think this game will be close in the fourth quarter.

JETS (-4.5) over Cardinals

I've inexplicably been on the Jets' train all season, usually to my detriment. However, with the Cardinals sending out Ryan Lindley as quarterback, there's no way that I can ignore this game in good conscience. As crazy as it seems, Rex Ryan seems to believe that New York has a chance to win its last five games and sneak into the playoffs. I don't believe either thing will happen, but it's a good enough line to get his team up to play Arizona. And once New York goes up, I expect them to keep their foot on the gas.
Panthers (-3) over CHIEFS

Two bad teams; one has a competent quarterback, the other doesn't; three points doesn't seem like enough.
Jaguars (+6.5) over BILLS
I'll keep on believing in the Jaguars as long as they trot out Chad Henne, who frankly never seemed to have gotten a fair crack at holding down the starting job in Miami. It seems like this game may be played in gusty weather, and Buffalo appears to have a big advantage with their running attack. Jacksonville will be able to keep this game close, though, as the Bills can certainly be thrown on if the Jaguars find themselves behind.
TITANS (+6.5) over Texans
Is it just me, or does it seem like the Texans are running out of gas? The Titans have been all kinds of inconsistent, and their defense is awful; still, this is a home divisional game, so a blowout seems unlikely. Chris Johnson has been pretty impressive for weeks now, and he actually had a decent game the last time these teams played. With the Patriots coming up next week, it just seems that Houston might not put everything they have on film and will try to squeak out the win.
REDSKINS (+2.5) over Giants
Of course, the Packers can always make the Giants look like world beaters. RGIII offers a different challenge, as New York's pass rushers have to focus on containing him in the pocket first and going for the sack second. The Redskins will be jacked for this game because they still harbor faint playoff hopes. With Pierre Garcon back in the lineup, the deep passing game for Washington is dangerous, and there just seems to be a huge chance of letdown for the defending champs in this one.
