Meet Rachel Kloss, Cumberland's New 4th Grade Teacher

With 15 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Kloss says she is looking forward to her new role at Cumberland Elementary School.

The Whitefish Bay School District hired 17 new teachers this year, and Whitefish Bay Patch hopes to introduce all of them to the community before the school year gets underway.

Today we will introduce you to Rachel Kloss, who will teach fourth grade at Cumberland Elementary School.

Where are you from? I grew up in Shorewood and Mequon and I now live in Milwaukee.

Education/Experience: I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from UW-LaCrosse, a Masters Degree from Cardinal Stritch in Educational Leadership and in 2008 I earned my National Board Certification. This will be my 15th year teaching.

Why did you choose Whitefish Bay? I wanted to teach for Whitefish Bay schools because of its great reputation.

Favorite place you've visited: Some of my favorite places are Rome, Paris and Hawaii, and my favorite vacation was taking my two children to Disney World.
