Cumberland Talent Show

The Cumberland School PTO is hosting two different, but equally wonderful all-school Talent Shows on Saturday, April 28 at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm in the Great Room.

The show is produced and hosted by Suzanne Singh along with Matt Liban and Matt Meixner of the popular local band The Five Card Studs (all parents of Cumberland Students). Every grade, K5 through 5th, is represented. The morning show includes 43 kids in 24 acts; the evening has 39 kids in 23 acts. There will be a 15 minute intermission during each show. The shows include: instrumentalists, singers, dancers, magic, skits, beatbox, gymnastics, and a surprising number of original compositions for kids so young!

The evening show will be opened by harmonica player Jim Liban, Jim has international cult status as one of the foremost post-war blues harmonica stylists, and many of his original songs have been recorded by national blues artists like Johnny Winter and Lonnie Brooks.
