Young Life "Pedals the Kettle" in Cycling Fundraiser

Nearly 60 people from the youth Christian organization participated in the 35-mile bike ride.

Nearly 60 people cycled through the Kettle Moraine to raise funds for Young Life, a Christian youth organization, two weekends ago.

Riders from Whitefish Bay, Wauwatosa, Lake Country, Verona and Sun Prairie all cycled in the 35-mile bike ride, dubbed "Pedal the Kettle". Starting in Waukesha, they rode westward into the glacial drumlin landscape of the Kettle Moraine on Sept. 18.

The group raised nearly $50,000 total between all of the area Young Life chapters.
