You could not have asked for better weather for the season opening of the Whitefish Bay Farmers Market on Saturday.

Fresh produce, delicious baked goods, and bunches of flowers were just some of the items featured Saturday morning at the season opening of the Whitefish Bay Farmers Market on Silver Spring Drive.

The weather was sunny and in the mid-70s for the family event, which also featured children's stories read by Whitefish Bay librarians.

The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through the end of September.
