What better way to celebrate 40 years of community involvement than eating cake and ice cream with your closest friends?
The Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation had plenty of company at its 40th birthday party at Old Schoolhouse Park Wednesday evening. In addition to its traditional ice cream and root beer floats, the second and last Ice Cream Social of the year also featured cake in honor of its hosts' landmark birthday.
The Whitefish Bay Community Band also performed a wide variety of classics for the crowd, including "Happy Birthday."
