MONKEY BAR GYM CAN HELP FAIRGOERS GET BACK ON TRACK AFTER FOOD-ON-A-STICK FARE

According to Wisconsin State Fair Park officials, more than 387,000 cream puffs were consumed at this year’s Wisconsin State Fair filling fairgoers with more than 135 million calories. Though the more than 1 million visitors took a break from calorie counting and waistline watching for 11 days, the gates of State Fair Park have closed but some pants zippers have not. There are three easy steps, however, one can do to quickly get back on track with healthy living. Jeffrey Winzenried, owner of Monkey Bar Gym in Milwaukee, is a Certified Natural Trainer (CNT) and helps clients reach their fitness goals through natural strength and conditioning training and guidance with plant-based nutrition. “It’s OK to take a break from our routines to celebrate something as anticipated as State Fair,” said Winzenried, “but it’s important to get back on track swiftly before habits are formed.” Winzenried trains clients at Monkey Bar Gymnasium located at 770 N Milwaukee St. He and his staff run group exercise classes, including boot camp, body power and yoga. Together, with a focus on short interval workouts, these classes help tone and strengthen the body and keep it healthy. “These three tips act as a good starting point to kickstart a healthy diet,” said Winzenried. “Starting with manageable goals can help lead to better overall health.” This simple advice can help get you on track to a healthier lifestyle and rid any toxins from some of those State Fair favorites. Three Tips to Healthy Living: 1. “Start today not tomorrow.” – Don’t put off your next workout; get moving right away. For example, put it on your schedule – just as you would any other obligation – show up and do the best you can. 2. Incorporate positive, healthy food rituals with every meal – Live by your own personal food policies. For example, every time you go to the grocery store, pick a new fruit or veggie to try. 3. Get out of your comfort zone and try yoga – Yoga is more than stretching. Even if you are not flexible, yoga acts in way to help restore your body through active poses, engagement and proper breathing. ### Monkey Bar Gymnasium specializes in helping men & women, individuals & groups, and athletes & non-athletes find solutions with weight loss, gaining muscle, cardiovascular endurance, and gaining flexibility.
