DESCRIPTION:At Relay\, teams of 10 to 15 people camp out at a local high
school\, park\, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a
track or path. Because cancer never sleeps\, Relays are overnight event
s up to 24 hours in length. Relayers do not have to walk all night\, but
each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times d
uring the event. During the event there are games\, activities\, food an
d music.\nThere are many ways to participate in Relay.&nbsp\; The first
step is to find an event in your community and decide how you want to be
  involved.&nbsp\; You can form a team\, join a team\, raise money\, join
the planning committee\, or volunteer to help where needed. For more in
formation contact your committee members &nbsp\;or visit our website at
