DESCRIPTION:Dominican High School&rsquo\;s award-winning Theater Departme
 nt is excited to  announce their production of Neil Simon's comedy FOOLS
 \, January 17-20\,  2013. A young teacher enters a Russian village\, to 
 find the villagers  speaking a plethora of accents &mdash\; none of whic
 h are Russian. Furthermore\,  people put dust on items rather than dusti
 ng them off and milk cows  upside down to get more cream: common sense i
 s not common!   The teacher soon learns that the village is under the in
 fluence of a  200-year-old curse\, which makes everyone in the village a
  fool. He  ambitiously decides that he will be the one to break the evil
  curse and  return the villagers&rsquo\; intelligence. To break the spel
 l\, he must teach  the beautiful\, young Sophia\, which is a daunting ta
 sk given that her  greatest accomplishment to date is learning to sit. T
 o make matters  worse\, Leon has only 24 hours to educate Sophia\; and i
 f he fails\, he too  becomes a fool! Since Leon falls madly in love with
  Sophia\, his desire  to break the spell becomes even more pressing. Wil
 l Leon find a way to  break the curse\, or will he be another fool in lo
 ve?\nPerformances will take place at Dominican High School in the small 
 theatre. Tickets are $7/person and can be purchased at the door. Perform
