Blue Dukes Football Tailgate & Silent Auction
Before the first home football game of the year against the Cedarburg Bulldogs, the Whitefish Bay Gridiron Club is hosting its ninth annual Community Tailgate And Silent Auction to support the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes football program.
The tailgate will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on the Whitefish Bay High School softball field, just east of the Fieldhouse. In the event of rain, the tailgate will be held in the high school fieldhouse. A spirit tunnel with cheerleaders and Junior Duke football players will be held prior to kickoff, which is at 7:05 p.m. at Sheldon Lubar Stadium.
For $7, you get a brat or a hot dog with chips, a drink and dessert. Pay with cash or check payable to Whitefish Bay Gridiron Club. The tailgate is catered by Pandl's Whitefish Bay Inn.
The silent auction ends at 6:30 p.m. Winners will be notified after the auction ends and items will be paid for and picked up the next day with cash or check payable to Whitefish Bay Gridiron Club.
More About Whitefish Bay High School
Whitefish Bay High School was founded in 1932 as a public secondary school. It offers its own football field and baseball diamond and competes with in the WIAA and provides students with several different athletic options for both male and female students. The academic curriculum prepares students for further education along with offering advanced placement courses. Juniors and Seniors can participate in a Work Experience program that offers credit as an elective. On street, free parking is available for students and parents.
