How One Year Can Change a Person!

Last summer we enrolled Kobi in summer camp. Since he is home with me most of the time, we thought it would be good for him to start socializing with other children.

Boy, has he changed. Last year for the first week, he cried every day because he wanted me to come get him. This year, he cries every day because he doesn't want me to pick him up. He is having too much fun.

His summer camp is held in a school, so he gets ready in the morning to go to "school" as he calls it. I only hope that he is this excited when he starts real school.

Kobi has a lot of fun with the other kids and he loves his teacher, Mrs. G., and their helper, Lisa.

It is so nice that the Parks and Recreation offer programs for children like this.

I must admit, I love walking in to the school with him. We always pass by the library and I remember how much fun I used to have going to the library. When I was in grade school we had the book mobile come once a month, because we lived in such a small town. I wonder if book mobiles even exist anymore.

I am glad Kobi is enjoying his new teacher and friends but does he have to cry every time I pick him up? He is starting to give me a complex. Because of this, I say, "hats off to his teacher and helper." Great job!
