The sampling of work at Winkie’s covers a wide range of media. Some of it is inspired by the greats—a vase of flowers reminiscent of Picasso’s work, an Ida Kohlmayer-inspired wall hanging and a woven paper wall hanging in the style of Wassily Kandinsky. The selections also include child-inspired photo art, a fused glass cityscape, a fused glass quilt and printed note cards made by students.  The exhibition will be on display until Monday.

The students’ art is a big draw at the auction and contributes significantly to the profits which this year will be used to enhance the 21st Century Teaching and Learning Initiative to give students better access to valuable curriculum resources and learning tools.
