Police Report: Drunk Doorbell Ringer, Explosive Water Bottles

A disorderly drunk driving arrest and marijuana use at Klode Park also made this week's Whitefish Bay police log.

An explosive prank concerned neighbors on Berkeley Boulevard Saturday night, but thankfully no one was hurt.

Police responded to the 4900 block of Berkeley Boulevard at about 10:34 p.m. Saturday night after two water bottles filled with aluminum foil and toilet cleaner exploded in two lawns. A resident called police dispatch, but police were unable to locate the subjects, who neighbors say ran eastbound through yards after the explosions were heard. An empty bottle of toilet cleaner was found on another lawn in the neighborhood.
