M&I Bank Collecting Donations for Ronald McDonald House

Food, toys and art supplies collected at Whitefish Bay and Glendale offices through June 9.

Employees at the Whitefish Bay and Glendale offices of M&I Bank are collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House as part of M&I Community Day, a nationwide mobilization of M&I employees to benefit the communities in which they work.

The collection of non-perishable food items, infant toys and art supplies will run through June 9. The general public, as well as M&I customers and employees, are invited to make donations during regular banking hours in the lobby of the M&I Bank offices located at and 231 W. Silver Spring Dr. in Glendale.

M&I Community Day was launched in 2001, and since its inception, thousands of people have benefited from the efforts of M&I employees corporate wide. In 2010, M&I locations in nine states helped make M&I Community Day a resounding success.

Individual M&I locations choose the organizations their project(s) will benefit based on the needs of their local communities. M&I employees participated in a variety of events, including hosting financial literacy training seminars; building Habitat for Humanity homes; holding food drives; building new playgrounds; volunteering at local fundraisers; and participating in community clean-ups.
