For a quick and very good fish fry, you can't beat Sendiks in Bayside on fridays. Love their beer battered cod. Get the tartar sauce..Though, not the pre-packaged one, but what they make. So very good and you're in & out before you know it.

What might be a very interesting article is one about restaurants that do NOT run a short menu during fish fry Friday evenings.

I do enjoy the fish fry, particularly at Victors, Firehouse, and Galiotos, but sometimes, you're free on a Friday and want to go to a place running a full menu.

PS. We did wind up visiting The Patio for the first time last night based on this article. The fish fry was fantastic, we tried both the baby pike and the cod.

if your looking for a giid homemade style fish fry you should check out country squire supper club in muskego. Its a very friendly atmosphere and there fish fry is to die for!! The cod and perch are lightly breaded and come with either homemand thin and crispy potato pancakes fries or both homemade clowslaw and himemade tartersauce and rye bread. They also offer different varities of fish and the whole menu is open to order off of. The dinners come with homemade soup and salad bar. I highly reccommend the country squire in muskego to whoever is looking for an outstanding reasonable dinner!!

I still love Cliffords in Hales Corners. All you can eat fish, fries, rolls, etc. And since we went smoke free, it's actually fun to go there.

Kiss the Cook Cafe in Racine has an impressive Fish Fry. I prefer the Cod, but many like the Admiral Platter that includes Walleye, Perch, Cod, Shrimp, and Clam Strips.

Friends of my husband own Jackson's Blue Ribbon on 113th and Bluemound. And we have been there many times to eat. Their fish fry is really good, nice portions and choices of sides too. Great service!

Always liked Silver Spring House but think they've slipped in the past few years. Really like Oakcrest Tavern on Oakland in Shorewood.

I was told, it was from his "fish man" a family owned business.
It is their own special recipe.

Most all you can eats should be called all you can keep down. If you do end up at a all you can keep down dress light because if you get stuck between a couple of those 350# 400# it's like being next to a wood stove running at full bore . enjoy
