Four Drunk Drivers Cited in the Last Week
Three of the four arrests were on Lake Drive, which remains a common spot for OWI arrests in Whitefish Bay.
Four drunk drivers were arrested by the Whitefish Bay Police Department in the past week:
- A 53-year-old Fox Point man was arrested for drunken driving at Lake Drive and Silver Spring Drive at 11:48 p.m. Saturday. His blood alcohol content measured 0.13. He was also cited for operating left of center, operating without proof of insurance and speeding.
- A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for speeding, drunken driving and operating after suspension on Lake Drive at Oakland Avenue at 1:47 a.m. Sunday. His blood alcohol content measured 0.15. His passenger, an 18-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody for possessing open intoxicants in the vehicle and resisting an officer.
- A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving in the 100 block of West Hampton Avenue, near Anita Avenue, at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 30. His blood alcohol content measured 0.12.
- Later that night, at 10 p.m., Gwendolyn Badzinski, 49, of West Allis, was arrested for her seventh drunken driving offense after allegedly driving 5 mph down Hampton Avenue and nearly hitting another vehicle as she swerved onto Lake Drive.
